We’re Gone!!!! Is Misson Accomplished?
There’s a party going on in Bhagdad right now. And I guess that’s because US Forces are starting to pull out of politically stable Iraq…uhh..maybe that last statement was wrong, but US Forces are pulling out and there is much to be celebrated in the country’s capitol. Insurgent forces retaliated about this by, yet again, bombing a Northern Iraqi city. At least 50 people were wounded and at least 20 killed.
Many Iraqis feel that they will finally be a free nation when they dont see US military control in their cities. There are other Iraqis that feel that they will be unsafe without the US patroled precense. Within the last ten days there have been a string of attacks that have injured over 200 people. Seriously, what makes it okay to attack your own people when you strive for freedom???? Wake up!!!!
Anyway, I am glad that we are realizing as a nation that this is not our problem. We helped them out of the dictatorship and now we need to let them be for the state of our own country. We cannot continue to save the world if we cannot save ourselves. This is a Nalini quote and I will find you if you use it!!!!
